The Digital Learning Center

The Digital Learning Center is located at the Jianguo Branch on floor B4. The Center is equipped with excellent digital facilities, and also different areas to meet the various needs of students. There are areas for discussion, self-study, listening to music, reading literature or newspapers and periodicals, computer study and multimedia study. The Digital Learning Center provides students with a free space to go after class either for study, or just to relax. In addition to this, as a means of further cultivating a relaxing study environment, the Digital Learning Center also has a coffee shop serving cakes and soft drinks for students to enjoy.

Internet Study Center
• This area offers 66 seats. Each seat is equipped with a book size PC with LCD monitor / DVD ROM / headphones.
• Students have access to a variety of free courses through the "Knowledge on Demand"(KOD) system, and also access to the internet and word processing software.

Digital Creative Area
• This area is equipped with computers installed with top-of-the-range software (also scanners and IEEE 1394). Students can make use of a variety of built-in multimedia software, including software for photo editing, 3D animation, scanning photographs and creating movies.

Reading Area
• This area has seats for self-study and also sofas. Readers can bring their own notebook computers and make use of the internet points to go online. A student’s card can be deposited at the reception desk for use of the area’s wireless internet service. Alternatively, if you don't wish to study, you can just relax on one of the sofas.

Corner Theater
• Watch movies / listen to music / drink coffee / surf the internet.
• This area offers excellent quality television channels, CDs and movie screenings, providing students with the opportunity to watch movies and relax.

Discussion Rooms
• Discussion / consultation / group presentations / small scale conferences.
• Reserve a room via the Digital Learning Center's 24-hour online reservation service.

Corner Cafe
• Drink coffee / listen to music / read / write / surf the internet / watch movies.
• This area is a collaboration with the coffee manufacturer. The Corner Cafe serves snacks and hot and cold drinks for students to enjoy anywhere in the Center.
